Graben Hotel

The Graben Hotel Vienna is a 4 star hotel located in a quiet side street of the famous boulevard Graben just a few walking minutes from Hofburg and Stephansplatz. Beside the 4 star comfort you can join a culinary journey to Italy in the hotel's own Trattoria Santo Stefano. Thanks to the architecture of the building, all of the hotel’s 56 rooms have an individual character and are furnished with suitable art nouveau furniture. Complemented with both tradition and modernity, the Graben Hotel offers its guests a welcoming and familiar atmosphere. The hotel’s own Trattoria Santo Stefano will take care of your culinary well-being. Here, you’ll be spoiled with traditional Italian delicacies and fine wines. Just next door is our Salon Altenberg which you can also reserve for meetings or private parties. Hospitality has been a tradition at Graben Hotel for centuries. Already at the end of the 18th Century, the “Einkehrgasthof zum Goldenen Jaegerhorn”, located in the current Graben Hotel, was famous citywide. From 1913, it developed into a favourite meeting point of the literary figures Franz Grillparzer, Peter Altenberg, Franz Kafka, and Max Brod. To this day in Graben Hotel you can marvel at the writing desk of Peter Altenberg. Check-in is available from 2 p.m. and check-out is possible until 12.00 a.m.

Location

Graben Hotel is located directly in the centre of Vienna on a quiet side street off Graben, right in the middle of the Old Quarter and, since 1927, owned by the Family Kremslehner. All sights in Vienna’s Old Town are reachable in short walking distance from the Graben Hotel and the easy access to the public transportation network makes it easy for guests to discover other parts of the beautiful city of Vienna. As the whole inner city is a non-parking zone, the hotel cooperates with a nearby garage and offers a pick-up service for guests at a fixed price.
